Every brand starts with its story. When Stella Nova’s founder shared WHY she was starting her consultancy, having worked most of her life in leading institutions and corporate enterprises, the brand came together flawlessly.

The name Stella Nova means “new star”. She wanted to create a place where new stars in technology could truly shine their light. Away from bureaucracy and with the freedom she has often longed for to explore the furthest boundaries of innovation.

Led by the talented Bel Lavratti of Uncover Branding, we developed Stella Nova’s visual identity. We gravitated away from what most people expected of tech companies, and instead towards a brand that was playful, creative and vibrant, while at the same time serious and sophisticated.

Clean lines, clear communication, an emphasis on structure and design. A palette that balanced black and white minimalism with neon hues. It would be futuristic and youthful, appealing to new stars in tech leading the next generation. It would also need to attract startups and SMEs and be anything but stodgy.

Next, we designed a brand new website in the Squarespace Cedar template. We loved its playful arcs and linear elements, which mixed beautifully with Stella Nova’s logo design and iconography.

Web pages include: Home, Services, About, Team, and Projects — a blog featuring new research and case studies to showcase Stella Nova’s expertise in Space, MedTech, AI & Machine Learning, and Robotics & Engineering.

Images were sourced in the brand color palette to grab attention and lend vibrancy and excitement to the site overall. Copy was written collaboratively with the founder, following our newly developed brand strategy and guidelines.
